What is an Audiologist?
AUDIOLOGISTS…
- Have at least a Bachelor and Master’s degree.
- Prevent, assess, treat and, rehabilitate hearing problems.
- Are regulated health professionals, registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), which ensures that ethical and professional standards are met.

Peter Kirchberger
Peter Kirchberger has been providing audiology services in Orangeville and Alliston since 1998. He received his Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology from Bishop’s University in 1990. He went on to complete his Master of Science in Physiology at Queen’s University in 1992 before completing his Master of Clinical Science in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario in 1995. While continuing to practice, he completed his Doctor of Audiology in 2008 from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. Peter was selected to be a representative of the Infant Hearing Program of Ontario which is a branch of the Ontario Early Years program. He has regularly been an Audiology consultant for the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario. He has coached and sponsored youth soccer and hockey in Orangeville for many years. He continues to present to local community groups to promote awareness of hearing healthcare.
Eric Irvine
Eric Irvine first joined Orangeville Hearing Clinic and Alliston Audiology as a student as he was studying Psychology and Anthropology at the University of Waterloo. He completed his Honours Bachelor of Arts from Waterloo in 2010 and went on to complete his Master of Clinical Science in Audiology from Western University in 2013. Eric began as a full time Audiologist with Orangeville Hearing Clinic and Audiology in August 2013. Eric grew up in the area and is pleased to be back after completing his schooling.
